Forest City Gallery is delighted to announce that it reopened to the public on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. To ensure the well-being of our staff and guests, new health and safety protocols have been established.
All visitors must self-assess before visiting the Gallery. Please stay home if you are not feeling well
On days that the Gallery is open, 12-1 p.m. will be reserved for seniors and those with health concerns
All visitors and staff must wear a face-covering unless a health issue prevents you from doing so. Disposable masks will be available
Strict social distancing protocols will be in place—all visitors must maintain a distance of 2 metres from staff and other visitors. Members of the same household may stay together
Only one FCG staff will be present at any time
FCG will be limiting our capacity to 3 visitors at a time
Hand sanitizer will be available at the front and back of FCG
Public washrooms will remain open and will be sanitized hourly
High-touch points, such as doorknobs and handles, will be cleaned every 30 minutes
FCG's Public Wall: Lending Library and Curated Research has been removed and is no longer available in an effort to avoid the handling of shared objects
Exhibition information—such as information on the artists and the works in the exhibition—will be available on the Current Exhibitions page on the FCG website; we encourage guests that have a smartphone to use their device to access this information. We will also have printed copies of this information available for individuals, but no shared copies will be presented in the gallery
As always, no food or drink will be permitted in FCG
Visitors are prohibited from placing objects on surfaces in the gallery (e.g., phones, umbrellas, bags, etc.). This includes the desk, benches, window sills, and any pedestals
Please visit the Events page on the FCG website for all of our upcoming virtual events and programming!
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to welcoming you back!
